On Sunday 18 April 2021 the COOPANS Alliance will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the first COOPANS system in operation in IAA's Control Centre in Shannon, Ireland.
Long content:
Since 2011 the six COOPANS Alliance partners (Austro Control, Croatia Control, Irish Aviation Authority, LFV, Naviair and NAV Portugal) have successfully implemented the COOPANS system in seven Control Centres in Austria, Croatia, Ireland, Sweden and Denmark where the systems now use common software and the maintenance processes have been harmonised.
The Control Centre in Lisbon, Portugal, will in the coming years be the eight European Control Centre to roll out the COOPANS system.
