Short content:
The COOPANS Alliance Board convened in Stockholm for its first meeting 2026, bringing together the executives of the COOPANS partners to discuss key strategic topics for the Alliance.
Long content:

The meeting focused primarily on the status of the TopSky ATC One system upgrade, acknowledging the complexity of the programme while emphasizing the structured approach and close coordination across the partner organisations.

Another central topic was the positive progress of the European-funded EXODUS project, which continues to move forward successfully and demonstrates the strength of cross-border collaboration within the Alliance. In addition, COOPANS is adapting its internal governance framework to address current and future challenges more effectively. The aim is to further strengthen the Alliance’s efficiency, agility, and collective impact in an evolving European ATM environment.

The meeting also marked the farewell of Ann Persson Grivas, Director General of LFV, who is stepping down from her position and therefore attended her final meeting as a member of the COOPANS Alliance Board. The COOPANS partners expressed their sincere gratitude for her outstanding contribution to the work of the Alliance Board. She has always been deeply committed to the Board’s activities and has been an important pillar of support for the Alliance over many years.

Looking ahead, COOPANS will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. A dedicated anniversary event will take place during Airspace World in May in Lisbon, marking two decades of successful collaboration and partnership.
